Carmen is a chartered engineer with a masters in Renewable Energy and an MBA. She works as a commercialisation manager, driving the generation of new products and services aimed at decarbonising aeroderivative gas turbines, from concept to commercialisation, in order to advance towards a more sustainable energy system.
Carmen believes in engineering as a means to solve global challenges and a way to adapt to the new worldwide shifts shaping business and society. Carmen has been a member of the QEPrize Ambassador Network Council from its inception. She has been an active STEM ambassador since 2014, supporting a wide range of activities and volunteers as a member of the Women’s Engineering Society Director’s Committee.
