Gunay Shamilova
Corrosion and materials
Gunay is a corrosion and materials engineer, currently working in BP in the Central Integrity Management team. She is helping all upstream and downstream facilities with the corrosion and erosion problems, also supporting Net Zero initiatives.
She has a chemistry background and has worked in Azerbaijan as an offshore corrosion engineer prior moving to her current role. Alongside this role, Gunay is leading some global projects that involve data analysis and digital tools.
