Kalita Patel

Kalita holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and currently works within the Foods and Beverages Sector at PepsiCo. She previously worked within the Design and Commissioning Department as a Process Engineer on manufacturing plant installations for a variety of turnkey projects including a chilled dessert manufacturer.

Kalita is an active STEM ambassador and mentor and joins the council with a keen interest in aiding the development of the next generation of engineers and scientists.

She is also the UK Corporate Ambassador for the Peruvian based educational institute, WindAid, whose projects provide electricity to developing communities through wind energy.
