Weam Mazen, QEPrize Ambassador

Weam is an Instrumentation & Control Engineer working on large-scale projects within the energy sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and is driven by a strong interest in energy security and the role of engineering in delivering a safe, reliable, and resilient future. She enjoys solving complex technical problems and developing practical solutions that support the delivery of critical infrastructure and major engineering projects.

As a QEPrize Ambassador, Weam is committed to inspiring more young people - particularly girls and young women - to explore careers in engineering. She is passionate about making the profession more visible and accessible, and about showing how engineers can make a tangible impact on the world.
