Engineering is all around us – from our household electricals to medicines, buildings and transport systems. Engineers take everyday problems and innovate to find solutions and create new things. More and more ordinary people are also adapting everyday objects to solve problems – this is known as hacking.
Everyday Engineers is a campaign running throughout February 2016 to highlight the innovation and creativity of ordinary people. We are looking for people who love to tinker and hack things in their spare time. Whether you have connected a Raspberry Pi to a household appliance, programmed some fairy lights or invented your own wearable technology, we want to see your creations.
