I was first inspired by the shape of the interlocking gears because of my dreams as I am planning to be a mechanical engineer in the future. Then I thought that the gears are symbolic to the advancement of science as one gear helps to move the other. Additionally, each gear could represent the 3 main aspect of science; biology, chemistry and physics.
