Finalist: 2026 QEPrize Trophy
I explored multiple design directions rather than focusing on a single form, because I see engineering as an iterative and evolving process. Each design I submitted approaches the idea of the QEPrize trophy from a slightly different angle, but all of them are guided by the same core principles. Across all my designs, the inspiration comes from progress, connectivity, and human impact. I used flowing, continuous forms to represent how engineering is never isolated — it builds, connects, and evolves over time. The balance between structured geometry and organic curves reflects the relationship between precision and creativity that defines modern engineering. The formations are intentionally upward-moving or open, symbolising growth, ambition, and the sharing of knowledge across borders. Rather than designing something purely decorative, I focused on creating forms that feel purposeful, stable, and meaningful — objects that visually express innovation, collaboration, and global progress.
