My design was inspired by the core values of the QEPrize—innovation, global impact, and excellence. I aimed to create a trophy that embodies these values and reflects the essence of engineering. The cube shape symbolises balance, stability, and unity, while also echoing the QEPrize logo’s three horizontal lines, representing the foundations of innovation.
The dynamic base, with two half arches, signifies the global support engineers provide. The extruded QEPrize logo, surrounded by geometric grids, represents engineering’s analytical and problem-solving nature. I also ensured the design could be practically manufactured with precision. The overall design captures prestige, innovation, and the transformative power of engineering.
