Professor Teck Seng Low

Professor Teck Seng Low stepped down as CEO of the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore in 2022, after helming it for 10 years. Prior to this appointment at the NRF he was the Managing Director at the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR). Professor Low returned to the National University of Singapore after his tenure as CEO of NRF as Senior Vice President (Sustainability and Resilience). He is a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers; Fellow of the IEEE and International Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK.
Professor Low was awarded the National Science and Technology Medal in 2004, and in 2007 he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by the President of Singapore for his outstanding contributions to the development of technical education and the management of science and technology for the nation.
