Engineers Speed Mentoring for Girls at the Science Museum | INWED 2025

In May, in preparation for International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), 11 women QEPrize Ambassadors participated in the QEPrize Engineers Speed Mentoring for Girls. Held at the Science Museum, this session aimed to inspire and guide Year 8 girls by connecting them with accomplished women engineers.

The QEPrize Ambassadors shared their experiences, offered valuable advice, and engaged with the students through interactive conversations and a Q&A session. This initiative gave the students access to professional engineers who inspired them to consider engineering as a positive career choice.
