Engineers Speed Mentoring for Girls at the Science Museum | INWED 2026

In May, in preparation for International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), 16 women QEPrize Ambassadors participated in the QEPrize Engineers Speed Mentoring for Girls. Held at the Science Museum, the session brought Year 8 students together with inspiring women engineers to spark curiosity and build confidence around engineering as a future career.

The QEPrize Ambassadors shared their experiences, offered valuable advice, and engaged with the students through interactive conversations and a Q&A session. The experience gave the girls direct access to real engineers whose stories and encouragement helped them see engineering as an exciting and achievable path.
