QEPrize Laureate Reception at NVIDIA

In October, our team went to Santa Clara, California, for the 2025 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering Laureate Reception at NVIDIA’s headquarters, along with QEPrize CEO Hayaatun Sillem, Royal Academy of Engineering President Sir John Lazar and UK Consul-General for California Eleanor Kiloh. The visit included a tour of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge headquarters and demo lab, where we heard how the company’s AI reasoning models are being used to deliver real world benefits.

Following the tour, QEPrize 2025 Laureate and NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang, reflected on the honour of receiving the QEPrize alongside fellow Laureates, and colleagues, Dr Fei-Fei Li and Dr Bill Dally. It was fantastic to hear from QEPrize Chair Lord Vallance of Balham, who reminded us why recognising engineers is more important than ever.
