QEPrize Winner Announcement 2026
The 2026 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering is awarded to Alim Louis Benabid, Jocelyne Bloch, Graeme Clark, Grégoire Courtine, John Donoghue, Erwin Hochmair, Ingeborg Hochmair, Pierre Pollak and Blake Wilson for the design and development of modern neural interfaces that restore human function.
Together, these innovations represent a new frontier in neuroprosthetics, where engineering and medicine converge to restore capabilities once thought lost forever. The winners were announced by QEPrize Chair Lord Vallance of Balham at the Science Museum in London in February 2026.
