Kourosh Kalantar-zadeh

Kourosh Kalantar-zadeh is a SHARP hire professor at UNSW. He is also an Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellow. His research interests include chemical and biochemical sensors, materials science, electronics, gastroenterology, medical devices and microfluidics. Kourosh has been the co-author of over 400 highly cited reviewed scientific papers and books. He is a member of the editorial boards of prestigious journals such as Applied Materials Today, ACS Sensors, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Advanced Materials Technologies and Nano-Micro Letters. He is internationally recognised for his work on sensors, two-dimensional semiconductors and liquid metals. Kourosh has received many national and international prizes including the 2017 IEEE Sensor Council Achievement and 2018 American Chemical Society Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Award (Asia-Pacific region) awards.
