Joan Iyere

I chose the design I did because I thought it represents engineering in a way. The tree is life and how engineering would not exist without life and how society would not be as far as it is today without engineering. The cogwheels are definitely something I wanted in my design, I feel they are the first thing that comes to mind when you think engineering but they also kind of represent time which goes on like life, like engineering which in time will grow and might create something life-changing and inspiring for young people like me.
